Dal curry
dal curry is nutritious as well as flavorful.The main combo is with roti /chapati and rice.Actually it is an usualmaking recipe in our home.

Ingredients
- 1 cup tur dal or masoor dal
- 2 big tomatoes chopped
- 3 or 4 pods garlic smashed
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp Cumins powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 red chillies broken into bits
- A few Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
Instructions

First thing is, Wash the dal and cook it along with the tomatoes, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and 3 cups of water in a pressure cooker.

When the dal is cooked, add some salt.

if water is required add a little more water.

Take another vessel, heat oil and add the smashed garlic, red chillies ,mustard and curry leaves.

Mix well When the mustard splutters pour in the cooked dal.

Serve with rice.
