Manjula Dubey

Manjula dubey is an artist who hails from Kerala. She has been settled in Mumbai for the last several years. She has had her exhibitions held at various galleries across India. Her paintings could be found in many private collections both within the country as well as abroad.

To quote Manjula’s words on her painting, “My paintings are a reflection of what I see around me on the uneven mirror of my conscience-expressions of the aspirations, expectations, disappointments, confusions and happiness experienced by common people in everyday life. There is no particular focus on the humans, they are part of the larger landscape.

The tree in the painting becomes a symbol of hope, trust, love and sometimes even confusion and dichotomy. The humans and the landscapes collectively represent the life around us with all its myriad hues.”
